2 x 12v batteries. Circuit question & fuses

Hi guys,

I have 2 12v Batteries in my 1982 109.

DO I have to disconnect both to be able to work on the electrics or are they on independant circuits ?

Also, what are the fuse ratings of the fuses under steering column ?

hi mate, when im working with 'lectrics i disconnect both for safety, doesnt take 2 seconds to re connect them both

35 amp fuses under the steering column, any other fuses added afterwards you'll have to calculate yourself.
