Got two separate buddies with P38's DSE models (I have the same)
1st problem is that the BCM and ECU are losing codes although it is possibe to rewrite this doesnt cure this problem. Car cranks as well as expected but just doesnt start till codes are rewritten. Buddy has renewed BCM and ECU at advice from main stealers but the problem occurs about every 6 weeks.
any ideas or had same problems??
2nd mate has same vehicle specs as above 2.5 DSE. He bought it with a gearbox change from originally being an auto box to a manual. Initially all ran smoothly. but for no apparent reason or change, when he is changing gear dips the clutch and brings the revs back on again the engine dies to tickover. So the only way round this he has found is to dip the cl;utch again and apply revs and she picks up as should do.
I'm on for a few pints if these mates can be fixed
