2 inch lift.... What's the cost?

I'm looking to buy a disco 200tdi and have got an insurance quote for the standard vehicle.

after i got the quote i asked how it would differ if i was to raise the car by 2 inches, the woman on the phone said she could not quote for that as she would need a professional to verify that the work had been carried out properly,

has anyone bought and insured a standard discovery and then raised it and told the insurance company and by what percent has your premium increased?

i know that insurance is worked out on a magic calculator, but i would just like to know what kind of rise to expect.

i got my insewer,ants through firebond mate disco 200tdi im 31 its been lifted 3" an i only pay £300 a year fully comp !

how much will the lift kit cost?

for a basic kit from 4x4mailorder.com a 2 inch lift would cost £225

or for a performance kit which includes radius arms, trailing arms, dislocating cones, front turrets and braided brake hoses you would pay £829.93
