I've recently inherited a 1972 2 door classic, everything seems to be working fine apart from the horn and indicators. The hazards work fine and the horn makes a very faint tapping sound but nothing more than that. The indicators are completely dead but full beam seems to work. I've checked the main fuses and they're all intact. Any advice would be much appreciated. :)

I'll have to try and trace it back, not very good with electrics though. Will have another look at it late. Thanks.

there are two flasher units.one for hazards one for indicators.both are mounted under the dash, just above the steering column.(assuming no one in 40 odd years has moved them.)

the flasher unit is powered (as is hazard if i remember correctly) by hazard switch..

so..first check flasher unit, then continuity between hazard sw. and flasher unit.

to check flasher unit, swap with hazard flasher..
