2.5 tdi exhaust problems

i want to replace my exhaust with cat to one without can anyone give me more info please

I might be wrong but doing this may fail the new MOT rules!? If I remember rightly any vehicle which originally had a CAT from factory will fail if it's been taken off.... If I'm wrong I'll probably take mine off but I'm holding back for now...

6. Your vehicle has had its catalytic converter removed and replaced by a normal exhaust silencer but passes the emissions Test. Does it fail the MOT because it hasn't got a catalytic converter when it should have one?

a) No, if it passes the emissions part of the MOT that is acceptable.

as for the pipe you just need a defender front pipe, loads of posts about it. Do a search and you will find part numbers etc
