And cracked pistons, they are cooled by oil firing up underneath them from small jets, stats are cheap and easy to replace.

Your engine needs a hell of a lot of work, mine kicks on first turn after six seconds. You could check the wiring, its old now and probably needs replacing. My live is fused, straight from the battery through a relay, the relay needs changing every now and then even if it still works.

Mine has a really dodgy earth not too bothered might scrap it for what its worth
