Has anyone out there fitted a 2.5 na into a series 3?
is it any better than the 2 1/4 diesel?
is it worth the bother?
how much should i pay for an ex mil 2.5 allegedly ok engine?
will it mate to the gearbox, 1971 vintage???
etc
etc

if you can stretch to it i'd think of going the 200tdi route , massive difference and not that difficult to fit .... i'v never fitted one in a series but thats what i'd be doing ....

I've got a 109, with a 2.5 n/a fitted (with overdrive), drives great! Cruises at 50-60 on motorways and returns 23/24mpg.

Though if you can get a 200tdi or Izusu 2.8, I sure it'll fly.

Cheers Mark

dose the na fit though as i want the converson as well as a mates mate is getting rid of 2 so

DO THEY FIT?

I think you personally would be better off with one of these;
