2.5 DSE Stall issue

Okay well just refilled tonight on the way home after a late shift.
The car has definitely improved, it's not stalling now.

I'm sure it's an engine loading issue as I could stall the engine, from idle, by flicking on the beams, hitting the brakes and turrning on the heater blower all at once.

I have no idea why pressing the brake pedal causes the revs to drop so much, and I will look at the wiring diagrams to see why.

It's not perfect, but improved within miles of the injector cleaner, and seems to be getting better. So sorry not conclusive.

The only other thing is, I record my mpg brim to brim every fill, and the MPG is down.
I always get High 27 to 28 MPG now it's 26 to 27, not much of a drop, but I have been recording it for 3 years and it's a new trend.

Jaysus I have to get a life!:)

Thanks for your help Sovereign. I will keep viewing this thread to see how you are getting on. It is now struggling to fire up and as the same as you nearly stalls when putting the lights on. I have had selector switches mentioned to me, could this be it?There is no difficulty moving through the gearboxes.

If the engine slows or stalls and does not adjust when alternator or power steering or gear engagement loads it. The problem is with the ECUs control of the quantity solenoid. Simple as that.

Ah okay that sounds electrical, which can always be intermittant, as this did go away before.
I'll look into it, though it is getting better day by day.
Almost like something is drying out.
