1998 Range Rover 2.5 DSE Auto... S REG... Dark Blue... 3 Months TAX... 9 Months MOT... Beige Leather Interior... Electric Windows / Seats / Sunroof... Brand new CD Stereo with Phone / MP3 & USB connectivity... Brand new Halfords Heavy Duty Battery, with 3 years warranty... Factory fitted DVD screen in the roof, sadly no player, however the screen does power up, and the roof lining does not sag... Five wheels with very chunky tyre treads... 169,000 Miles (about 11,000 genuine miles a year on average, so be reassured it hasn't had the mileage clocked)... Some previous MOT Certificates... Full Air Suspension, NOT SPRING CONVERSION... Car raises and lowers when prompted... All in all an average vehicle for its age... BMW 2.5 Diesel Engine... Privacy Glass all round... CD Shuttle Changer in the boot with leads, but it is not currently wired up.

Bad points:

Windscreen has a chip in it, which could crack in freezing weather and could cost you a £50.00 excess if you have windscreen cover on your insurance policy.

One of the rear air bags does deflate if left for a day, however a set of rear bags is £90.00 from Island 4X4.

Any and all detrimental issues can be negotiated off the asking price... which is currently £1,800.00 o.n.o

Factory fitted DVD screen - just wondering was this a LR part? Looks good.

I wonder if its run on Veg, and registered as such - (yes you get a massive £10 saving on car tax) would it be eligible for a reduction in the London tax charge? May help it sell. (thats my 50th post now so I can ask a real question).

My friend is a manager at Halfords, so i'm ok with warranty issues.

Also i'm assuming its standard LR for the dvd screen, as i've seen a few with it housed

I'm tempted as the missus is currently using our disco for work every day and this would be more suitable.

Would need to sell that first to raise the cash.

Sadly not.

There are some old MOT's that came with it when i bought it, but being realistic, @169K, that works out to about 11K per year, which is about average, so i wouldn't have thought that the mileage has been tampered with... you never know, but i would say its most likely genuine.

I do have someone coming down to look at it tomorrow though, so i'll post on here to keep you updated.

Well, at least i now have lots of previous MOT's for the RR lol

sold
