Hello,

So fitted new fancy accuspark dizzy with electronics and no points. New plugs and new coil with the kit. Set engine to 6 degrees BTDC and took old dizzy (Ducellier) out (checked rockers and piston heights to ensure on combustion stroke). Put new dizzy in but no spark. Checked LT connections and 12v where it should be and correctly connected to the dizzy....red cable to positive on coil, black cable to neg....no ballast resistor. HT 12v getting to the rotor arm but nothing getting to the HT leads from dizzy to plugs. Any ideas as its driving me mad.

Is the rotor arm is good condition? Dizzy cap new? Is the carbon rod touching the rotor arm? Contacts to each plug lead OK?

I had troubles when I installed mine at first, a) mine had Lucas Dist with Offset Keyway and from memory I had to reposition the leads as no1 had moved. (I did phone their Tech and he confirmed that may be ness) b) the timing will need to be adjusted considerably. plus Have you seen section 6 in book item 3 re trigger height may be worth a look. Regarding the 12V at rotor this may just be coming through the ignition module while not firing. Keep at it its well worth it once its running.
