1st time Land rover owner.

Just signed up to the forum as a first time Land rover owner. Got myself a 08 Freelancer 2 auto in May with just 18000 miles on the clock. Was a bit daunted at time of purchase as it is the largest vehicle I've ever owned. Although I did drive defenders when younger at work. Now been driving her a few months & love the ride position and feel very safe.
Also the first automatic I've owned. Had been thinking of getting a caravan and believe this is a good towing vehicle. Afraid the old VW camper van may have to go as the wife thinks she's getting too old to crawl into the bed in the back lol.

Maybe the wife has to go.

Ha ha! Thanks for the advice. I think after 15 yrs of happy holidays in the 43 yrold camper van she probably has earned a little more comfort though. Best solution I can think of is keep them both & get a caravan as well. ;-)
