19J Overfueling

I have recently put a new (Used) 19J in my 110. Before i put it in, i changed the injector pump (Old one had a split boost diapham andmine was a known good one) and changed the cambelt.

Ever since i put it in, it has been overfueling. Thick black smoke when the accelerator is decked, not so much if i press the accelerator is pushed slowly.

Boydy and BMP42 reckon there is a smoke screw on the IP that can be adjusted, but i can't find anything about it on any forum... Anyone know where it is? It starts amazingly well, and there is no smoke at tickover....

Any other ideas?

Turning up the pre 94 Ram diesel injector pump

19J's have a different injector pump Dripper? That link is for a Bosh un' which is 200/300 and mine has a CAV pump

just thought yer pump ull be a lucas dps one,theres a pdf sumwheres forra lucas dpa pump which is vaguely similar,think it was on lr4x4

Aye, it is a DPS. DPA is 2.25 in'it?
