1999-TD5 VIN nUmber location

Hi,
I had the underside of my TD5 waxed before winter, now MOT test failed as cannot locate VIN number
Any ideas?
Blinded by science!

On front dumb iron below steering box!! Maybe !!if its got a steering guard , it may be under the side bit !! You may have to scrape the paint off ! The numbers are not very deep !! Should be a vin plate on top of brake master cylinder mount !!
If its a replacement chassis then there may be no no at all!!!
You can buy a blnk vin plate from Landrover and have your vin stamped on !!
Your vin no is on your log book too!!!
