hi all, i've just bought a range rover p38. was lucky enough to buy it off a bloke that last year won 4.8 millon on the lotto. he off course loves these things so he bought 2 new ones a sport and a vouge.
only prob i have is there is no manual with her. i've done about 200 miles and everything great i has meesing about the other day and was presing buttoms on the dash, i went to drive and nothing dash said transfer neutral????
a mate told me take off the motor at side off the gear box looked like a wiper motor to me. put power to it and its works fine so i put the switch back put it on and great got gears again.
now the jeep has been laying about for a week. been cleaning her up and things so was just starting the jeep and leaving her running, now the fault is back and no gears?
now i've never had one off these before, my wife has a freelander but nothing to this large lump,lol
any help would be great.
