1999 autobiography - fuel filter?

Does anyone know if there is a fuel filter on the above model? I have been to the local specialist and bought one for about 4 quid, but I cannot find it? My google searches seem to suggest they don't have one.......

The petrol ones have it under the car, just front of the tank. They are apr. under the driver seat somewhere.

mine does nmot have one. If its a thor engine then it wont have one. Did exactly what you did. Ended up pouring a load of fuel cleaner in the tank to clean the injectors out
