If you have had same problem with two boxes then the common denominator is the transfer box. Unless you have been seriously unlucky with the new box. As said diag will tell you of electrical problems, if you don't have any it has to be mechanical.

Yea, maybe I have been seriously unlucky...
But I didn't change TC, so I'm thinking to change TC and will see what good will that bring...if any
:/

And what was the problem?

I had a second hand engine fitted in Bishkek and the fitters managed to damage the connector on the engine ECU temperature sensor wire and it was intermittently having bad connection and causing the gearbox to flare between gears with no input from accelerator or road conditions.

Will check all the wires. I would be happy if it is something like that.
But on the other hand, I have some weird vibration now and it seems that my drive plate broke...again

TC won't cause that unless it is sheering from it's drive plate and the down changes are causing it to wobble about. But i take it you check that when you changed the box. Any way if that was the case it would possibly have let go long ago.

So you are saying to me that it is not TC, and that it is gearbox.
Because I dont see that transfer box can have anything with that, if chain is loose, it will jump and that is it, sound will me there and that is it. No kick when shifting gears down...

The TC is a fluid flywheel unless it is breaking away from the drive plate there is nothing that can cause what you have. Think of it logically, you had a car with a fault. You changed the gearbox to try and remove the fault. It is still there. Unless you have been the unluckiest bloke on the planet and found another gearbox with exactly the same fault the old one had. You can safely assume it is not the gearbox. You say there is no play in the diffs and no play in the propshafts. There is only one thing left it can be.

Exactly.
And I'm thinking logically, but in my logic (what it only mine :) ) is telling me that transfer box doesn't have nothing with shifting gears. I had problem on my previous RR P38 with transfer box and chain inside, I changed transfer box and that was it... So, again, my logic is telling me that shifting gears down doesn't have nothing with transfer box.
I would love to say that it is something with TC or transfer box but that means that I need to play again and change first TC and then transfer box (take it off two times). And if the problem is still there then I'm the unluckiest guy on the planet. (what is nothing compared to my friends RR P38 where we took off gearbox 5 times because of "great" mechanics).
And I have in my garage another TC and another transfer box but I don't have another gearbox 4hp24.

But to conclude, you are betting on transfer box and not on TC?

What in the TC other than it coming adrift from the drive plate can cause what you have. If it was flopping about like a whippets dick internally it wouldn't be providing drive. When you are coasting and the speed is dropping and the box is changing down the transfer box is being driven by the axles. Each change down will cause a loose chain to snatch. I am tempted to believe that is your problem.

Will see when I take all apart.
But I can feel vibration so I'm sure that my drive plate is broken again. So for sure will need to take off gearbox and everything what goes with that.

Only to be on safe side, will take my old gearbox to dealer so they can take look. Maybe, if it's valve bank and if they can fix it, will put it back on.

Way to go to, avoid all the speculation whip it apart and get a proper picture. ;)
