1997 and 2005 90 Chassis difference please

Hi everyone

Please can someone tell me what the difference between a 1997 200tdi 90 chassis and a 2005 td5 90 chassis, is it just a straight swop over ????

Engine mounts are different, it also has an extra brackets on the chassis at the back where the rear fuel tank goes. It will also have anti roll mounts which your 200tdi chassis I don't think will have but these are not an issue. They usually have the little brackets on the tubular outrigger for the original tank though.

It can be done, you just need to weld up the engine brackets, common enough between 200tdi to 300tdi upgrades and V8's etc.

1997 200TDI ??? are you sure it isn't a 300 TDI !
