1997 Land Rover Defender 90 for sale, Epsom Green £6,750
116,000 miles R reg 1997
For sale is my Defender 90. HPI clear. Mot Mar 2015
This Land Rover has the bullet proof 300tdi engine, which runs flawlessly, and will comfortably cruise at motorway speeds.
Since owning I have changed the oil every 2500 miles
The chassis is solid and was wax oiled before winter, there are a couple of patches in the usual places, but otherwise sound. There are a couple of bad points: the side panels are a bit bruised, the reversing light does not work and the bonnet sound proofing is tatty
It performs very well for a standard; and near original vehicle.
It has a few extras including :
a snorkel,
rear diff guard,
rock sliders (not that they are needed but much stronger than the original aluminium sills)
Front A bar with two 100w spot lights.

Tow bar with electrics.
Chequer plate fitted to wing tops
3 seats up front, seat covers fitted as the two outer seats are showing signs of wear.
Extensive work has been carried out in the last 6 months :-
New brake pads and discs all round
New steering drop arm and track rod
Front swivels replaced and rebuilt
New rear coils and shocks
New Fan belt and tensioner
All oils and filters changed (including differentials)
New alternator
New fuel lift pump
Two new tyres
