Hello everyone, I noticed the other day that my Land rover Defender is marking it's territory more than it used to!
I had it serviced a month ago, just before I went on holiday and put it in the garage out of sight of thieving eyes. When I came back 2 weeks later I noticed that there was a puddle of oil on the floor of the garage; about a pints worth. Yesterday I took it to the garage who had serviced it and asked them to look to see if they could identify the source of the leak.
It turned out they had diagnosed a problem with the sump previously but had forgotten to pass that information on to me.
So the question I hope you can answer is does the sump off a 300tdi Discovery fit a Defender and if so, what variants?
I have seen various prices ranging from a couple of hundred pounds for a new one to £20 for a second hand one.
Hope you can help.
