No offence intended, but you you are way over estimating what you'll get, I've spent over 3 grand on my Disco in the last 2 years, and I know full well there is no way I'd get more than £1200 for it even though she's clean and tidy
Time's have changed, and Disco's are cheap as chips ... unless you find a noobie Disco buyer who is gullible.

Ok I paid 3k for my disco, 72,000 on clock, FSH, 3 owners from new, full tank of fuel, Cibie lights on front, years MOT, he collected us from the train station, it had 4 new BFG's on it and it was an ES spec plus it was rust free and had just had a new stainless system put on

I sold my '96 XS for £1400, getting on for 180k on clock, 10months MOT, in very good nick inside, needed welding prob for next MOT but overall solid oh and the ABS light was on.
