Im back with more questions... wonder how long it will take for you guys to get tired of me asking so many questions... Anyway got everything fixed then my ac control started acting up. When the temp control is turned all the way on heat it will kinda making a knocking noise inside the control unit and it will almost get stuck but with more pressure it will go into that last notch. Also sometimes the lights will go out behind it when its in that positions but if i turn it towards the cold side the lights will come back on. As for my main problem the fan speed control is messing up as well 1st and 2nd positions will work fine but in the 3rd speed position you have to kinda wiggle it around until you find that perfect spot for it to work and the 4th fan speed doesnt work at all. I figure its probably some shorting issues anyone know if its even possible to dissemble the unit to get to the insides? I would hate to spend another 100 on a new one if I could repair mine

Not sure if the design is the same on the classic but the fan knob on the P38 has a little ball-bearing that can slip out of position or get worn and cause issues. @martyuk refrubs some in his spare time but not sure how much he has played with the classic.
