1995 Disco 300 tdi air conditioning

Does anyone know if this is the old system that can't be recharged or the new system.
Marshals seem to think it is the new system but another main dealer says it is the old system.
I am just about to buy this but need to know before I commit.

I recharged the A/C in my 1994 300TDI Disco, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to in a 1995 model

Should be a sticker under the bonnet with the A/C amount on and it should say what gas it takes (134A) is what your looking for
But I'm sure all car fitted with A/C from the 1990s on would have had 134a in it

R12 (old gas) has a thread on the outside of the connector
R134A (newer gas) does not have a thread on the connector

Would have thought you would have R134a on a 95 year vehicle but not definite.
