My mate has bought himself a 2.5 DSE P38 it was driving fine then the other day he parked it up and swapped his leather interior while he was doing this he had his doors open and interior lights were on which in turn drained the battery to being totally flat. He jump started it with the jump leads and now when he turns the ignition on or off it says transfer neutral when he tries to put it in park with the engine running it grinds. when he puts it in any gear it won't engage and move. when he moves it through the gears 1 2 3 D N R P it shows on the dash but doesn't engage. Any ideas please guys???

When he changed his seats he didn't by any chance see a fuse holder with nothing in it and put on in did he. If there is a fuse in position 11 take it out.

Did that Wammers it worked thanks mate your a legend whats that fuse in 11 for anyway and why do you remove it?

It puts the transfer box in neutral whilst the car is being towed. If he breaks down and has to be towed you MUST fit a fuse at position 11. Other than that it's not fitted.
