1995 Land Rover Defender 300tdi Station Wagon
I am selling my beloved Landy as the wife just wont drive it, and with a new job looming after Christmas involving a commute to work, it just is not viable to keep this on my drive.
If you are a fan, you will know all about these vehicles - they are one of a kind and simply cannot be beaten in their capabilities.
This is the 5 door, CSW model with in theory 11 seats. The front centre seat has been replaced with a cubby box.
Excellent and bullet proof 300tdi engine
Very good interior with newly trimmed headlining and re-carpeted rear load area.
Rear bench frames removed and powder coated
High back second row seats
Light bar with driving lights (these are not wired up, one is cracked)
Tear to one rear seat and front seat bases torn on the edges
Bulk head in excellent condition
Ignition surround cowls are missing but only cost £20
Doors have gone / starting to rot on bottoms as usual. Skins are dented and blistered in places. Corrosion to bottom of rear quarter panels under lights.
Has had some paintwork to the lower half in the past which is not the best job but ok
New front prop and rear UJ fitted recently
Deep Dish alloys with decent road tyres and Wolf rim as spare
Small hole by fuel cap, bottom of o/s b pillar in inside n/s second row door - see pics.

Rear adjustable tow bar included
Rear crossmember has been replaced in the past and is in excellent condition
The chassis has had some welding in the past - it is not the neatest but does the job. If you are perfectionist, this could be re-done properly.
MOT until 15th March 2015
No service history but a few old MOTs etc
Brakes and front springs will need replacing soon
Replacement speedo at some stage and the first '1' hasn't clicked over, so mileage shows 38,000 but previous MOTs back this up
One of the front swivels is leaking oil.
All the gears works ok, hi-lo range, diff lock etc.
This is a genuine car with good and bad points. A days welding will have it in fab condition - try to find a Landy in perfect nick!
Sensible offers will be considered, car is sold as seen with no warranty implied or given. If i do not get what I want for it I will keep it for my dogs to be driven around in as these are becoming more and more sought after and will only go up in value no doubt.
