Hi,
well the dreaded time has come to sell my discovery, its a 1994 300tdi ES with grey leather.
extras fitted are:
+50mm extended arches (flatdog type)
Roof light bar with 4x spot lights
5ft CB ariel with Thunderpole T-1000 Radio (working perfectly)
Silicone hoses
De- EGR
De Cat
Straight through middle exhaust
Boost gauge
EGR gauge
Safari style snorkel
8mm thich 3 peice alluminium steering guard
front and rear diff guards
Recent expenses include:
Brand new OEM clutch kit and HD release fork
New front discs (Allmakes), pads(Mintex), and Drivers side caliper(Allmakes)
4 new wheel bearings (timken)
TD5 front propshaft (Allmakes)
Rear prop donut (Allmakes)
4x new AT tyres on ES alloys (goodride 235/70/16)
New front shocks
Bearmach HD springs (std height)
*New low milage gearbox being fitted by a specialists this week*
If you would like to save some money on the asking price and have the ability to fix the Gbox yourself ill supply the new one with the disco and knock the garage costs off.
Transfer box goes into high low and diff-lock easily. showing a few battle scars from some narrow greenlanes around me but has never been offroaded harshly just gentle green lanes.
The chassis is in very good condition with very limited surface rust, no patches, has been painted by me each year of ownership. sills are good with no patches or rust holes visible. slight surface rust behind head lights but nothing a quick coat of Hammerite wouldn't solve. wheel arches are good.
Probably forgotten stuff so any questions ask, Located near cirencester for next week if anyone would like to view, up to shropshire after that if not sold. Will be very sad to see it go as has always been my daily drive but new job requires a long commute and i simply cant afford the fuel.
