This will be my last update for a while, I took a few days off to get the landy ready for mot and hopefully make its first run out on Sunday past. It was a charity run organised by a local 4x4 specialist, all I can say is that after fighting me to the end it passed mot and made the trip with no problems. It's far from finished but I can do the the rest as I go along.

Just a few pics at the mot centre, I would like to thank all that have helped along the way and to those who had any interest in the rebuild. As I improve it as I go I'll update as it happens, cheers.

Cheers mate, im lucky enough to have a mate who works there and turned his head enough for me to sneek a few pics. One of the other guys even asked if i wanted the ramp up higher to get a better shot!!!!

LOL, I thought that might be the case. You got some nice photos.

Well done Ian it's a credit to you for all the space you had and working out of a small garden shed. Get out now and enjoy it.

Just a few photos to update the progress on the landy, not to sure if I like the spots but a friend gave them to me and tbh Icant make my mind up. Had a go at making the rockliders which I really enjoyed apart from a trip to a+e to get a bit of metal out of my eye, but happy with they way then turned out. Apart from doing a few seals on transfer box and fitting a raptor dash thats all so far.

That looks superb. Wish I could weld even nearly as good as that.

I got some nice welds on these, some crap ones too. By the end of making them I was getting the hang of it and its great not having to buff the ****ty welds down! Keep practicing and trying different angles and settings until you get it. :D

Today I had the pleasure of putting the landy to work, it pulled like a train and I hardly even knew the load I was pulling was even there! It was great to get to use it for something it is so capable of doing.

The guy that owns this series 3 has asked if I would like to help to bring it back to life, didn't need think to hard about it and I've committed myself to doing what I can. Really looking forward to getting stuck in even though mine still needs a lot doing.

The landy looks great, did you paint the parts in 2k yourself? If so what's it like to use? I would like to do mine in 2k but worried about the danger side of things.
