Selling my Lotus, all known Esprit issues fixed by previous owner who was an employee of the Lotus F1 team, most of the work was carried out at the Hethel factory. Completely poly bushed, new coil overs, suspension set up, new radiator with three new cooling fans, 4 Delorto carbs rebuilt by GST, replacement stainless steel fuel tanks, list goes on and on.
Extensive history, including factory service notes
12 months MOT, no tax as sorn right now.
It is completely original with exception of the Alpine sat nav and reversing camera but it is a genuine Lotus unit.
Will post more pics later on, just thought I would list it on the off chance.
Going to sell both this Lotus and my 100 inch Hybrid and buy a 110 Defender.

£12000

I don't know who made the motor itself, but the guy I bought it from had just changed both of the mechanisms, and they were made by that magnificent manufacturer of all things reliable, Lucas.
Interior door handles 1988 onwards, what vehicle were they from?

Early lift motors are Triumph TR7 and later ones are Pontiac Fiero I believe..

No idea about door handles! :)

LDV / Sherpa van handles!

Wing mirrors are from the Citroen CX gti

Rear lights from Toyota Corolla

Gear nob from a Renault GTA Turbo, well actually the whole gearbox is too

Rear wheel bearings from Renault Feugo Turbo

Front wheel bearings, from GM, as are front hubs

Interior controls are a miss mash of GM, Lucas, Citroen, Austin, Range Rover, Maestro, montego

Ashtrays from Austin, air vents, mixture of LDV, and Maxi/1100/Princess/ Range Rover classic

Interior light was from 1986 onwards GM Vauxhall

And of course the actual exterior door handles were marina Range Rover ones

Engine block was some GM sourced unit going back about 20 years, all iron jobby so was quite strong, Lotus just had the twin cam heads made.
Surprising what good cars they are actually, with most parts being sourced from less than reliable manufacturers, but the core of the Esprit is great, the chassis and engine.
