Hi Guys
Just got a 1988 Santana, looking for some tips and advice on and few upgrades. Ive got the gear box bearings to do and new shock absorbers. I am looking as putting some sound insulation in it as I can't hear myself think, does this have any effect and which product is best used? Is it best to sound insulate as much as possible or just concentrate in certain areas?
Going to get a new grill as the old one is pretty tired!
Interior wise looking to upgrade the dash and seats. The plan is to use it as an every day work car so looking for a little comfort. Does anyone know of a a dash kit upgrade or anything? Anyone recommend some good new seats?

Ill do a full respray myself so that should set me up for a few years.

Cheers Guys

By 1988 the Santana was a very much different vehicle from the Land Rover, the company having gone its own way in the 70's So I think you need to look nearer home for what you need. Good luck with your project.

Yes they have. Ive got a 92 defender in the workshop and its pretty much identical, main thing is the Santana is on leaf springs. All interior is the same. Seen some that are much different.
