1986 Range Rover 3.5 V8 Restoration progress

First of all I will tell you guys, I will update this every time I do anything to the car! Even just a wiper blade you will know about it!

Parts I need:

Rear wiper motor,
Air hose (slit on the bottom),

Things done:

Swapped Starter-Motor.
Fitted battery.
Cranked over with new starter and battery (7.10PM 16th March) and it cranked! Didn't start though as there was no petrol in it!
Replaced fuse,
replaced coolant tank,
re-built brakes,
replaced coolant tank.

Receipts:

Reconditioned starter-motor - £30
Battery (used) - £15
Reconditioned Alternator - £39.99
Alternator belt - £13.99
Brake disks - £79.99
Brake Pads - £18.99
Brake lines - £5.99
Coolant tank - £11

I will update this list as I do things

Island 4 x 4 are good for parts as is this guy eBay UK Shop - Range Rover Recycled Parts: Range Rover P38 HSE, Relay's Actuator's Switches, LSE and SE Parts if it aint listed give him a ring he still might have the part or will know where to get it.

Hey I just noticed your a fellow Ranger! Between 86 and 89 they changed NO styling :lol:

And its a Vogue AND a 3.5 V8 EFi like mine! Gotta love Range Rovers

really helpful man. been friends with Martin for about 5 years now. he is always very good on postage as well, never rips you off.

. Oh well, I only had 2 things to do. One of which is getting done in 5 mins! The air hose.
