this stung me the day i collected her, then cleaned out loads when i washed her.

popped over and hauled her back. i know it was probably a bit over my towing capacity, but only moved her about 17miles at 30mph

Any thoughts or comments welcome

and does anyone know if there should be a seal between that roof on the back and the car body? and what the hell is the thread that should bolt it on?

Chevy??? Says VW on the pic I am looking at. Nice Landie one to just fettle and enjoy as it is. There should be a seal, pricey for what you get I reused my old ones when putting station wagon sides on and sealed with silicone. Dont see many cat flaps now.

Holy sheet! 17 miles with 1400kg on that, you've got some balls! Look at the flattened tyres heheh

Looks pretty tidy, but so did mine..

Well guys, today I found time to bolt the roof on properly by removing it again and putting the blts in the right way round and I fitted the seatbelts after fixing them too, added a few bolts to places that needed them and then drive her down for MOT

Fail sheet to follow lol failed on a bad earth for the headlights causing dodgy pattern, and two very tiny bits of welding at the very end of the chassis legs where they are welded to the rear "bumper" section, oh and left headlight aim is out, lol

With refrence to the cat flap, I want to keep it for when I take the roof off so I still have the bottom flap

trotted back to the MOT station today and we could not get the headlight adjustment screw to move. i did however manage to manipulate the headlight to get a decent aim,

so....She now has 12 months mot!!!! :D

can anyone point me in the direction of some decent heads lights for a series 3?
