1971 S2a Station wagon...... Finally we are up to 5 series.....

Well not sure it's a good thing or not (kidding it's a great thing) BUT we've just bought series No5.

1971 s2a station wagon cropped up at a price I just couldn't refuse....

Broken clutch BUT 19j diesel turbo, over drive and parabollocks... What's not to like.
Sorted the clutch out and replaced headlights etc.

As it was when we picked it up

Treated to a wash

Treated to correct grill and a wipe over with some wd40

And some new reg plates

Then quick 300 mile trip down to Aberystwyth to collect a full length extended roof rack without missing a beat

That looks great I do hope it's not going to be 'restored' too much??

It's going to get a full on no money spared restoration (just as soon as I buy some more WD49 for my wiping rag lol)

I like my Landys to be 'used' the bulkhead might need some gentle restoration in the near future as the top corners are a bit crusty.

Very nice, I do like 2A's, Would like one with a roof tent to tow my racer.
