Hi all,

I am going to re chassis my IIa and fit Range Rover axels, brakes, 4speed auto gearbox and my own modifiyed Rover 3.6 V8 with a Webber 4bbl carb on top.

I have the Leafer complete, and I have a complete 1989 Ranger Rover (came with 6000 mile old gearbox).

I don't have the chassis yet......

There is a company called Design A Chassis that make them but I can't quiet stretch to a new one and was wondering if anybody had one or knew somebody wanting to sell one.

I don't want a shortend Range Rover chassis.

Also has anybody tried those 'run your engine on hydrogen' kits (on ebay for 115quid.

You might aswell shorten a rangie chassis, as it will end up on a Q plate either way.
What i would do is lengthen the body (Get a LWB back and chop it) then legally you can use the rangie registration.

An even better idea would be to... Get another leaf spring chassis with V8 and auto mounts (Richards would sort you out), sort the leafs out properly or get some parabolics and then find a Stage 1 V8 axel and you will have a Tax free V8 auto series 2 :)

Hydrogen kits.... Are you taking the ****?
