yea i agree- certainly will be a beut

I am going with NFU probably. Someone on Lruk, my age (16) was quoted about £500 with them for a Series 3 on a galvo chassis, parabolic springs and a 200DI in it (Obviously the quote is for when he is 17).

Hi All

While on the details of the front valance mine (1964 series 2a 2.25 diesel) has the square valance not the rounded one and as previos posts state the 2a has the rounded valance and the series 3 wings with headlights added not in the radiator panel as mine are? Does anyone know what date the series 2a was introduced? could mine be a origonal series 2?

true, was 19 when the policy was taken out. still well worth a shot over the mainstream insurers

I tried NFU but they wouldnt insure me as was under 25 and neither of my parents have a policy with them

All drivers must be aged between 25 and 74

got that from the footman james site. thats the sticking point for me

im going to go to the local nfu branch tomorrow afternoon i think and see what they will do for me

got the roof off today, and i can say the truck is certainly a firm favourite = i adore it

Why all the ranting about NFU?:confused:
hope you dont need to claim from em ;)

My dad has twice and they have been fine both times, sent a curtsy car about the next day on both occasions. No hassles....

I do think the quality of service varies from office to office.

The guy who cut me up last year was insured with nfu took 3months to sort out a simple claim. Not that I minded having a courtsey car that did 60mpg :D
