14 year-old building a bitsa! (in Gloucester)

Just thought I'd join here as well (I'm on the Series II club as well and I'm a member).
Basic introduction; I'm 14 and have owned my landy since I was 9 and I've owned 2 others since but they're gone now (eBay!). My land rover is a 1968 IIA diesel SWB. When I got him the chassis was F**ked and the diffs even more so despite only 25,000 miles. he spent his life on a farm and trialling then spent 20 years behind a barn and now I'm rebuilding him.
I'm a complete Land Rover nut! I spend my evenings in the barn with the radio up loud.
We don't just have land rovers although they do dominate our lives. I also have a mini rally project and horses play a huge part in our life.




The blue on is my IIA the others are some of my toys!

Hi there I am Paul, I have just been left a Land Rover series 2 by my late dad which is in need of a fair bit of restoration. I am complete new to this, I have sorted the fuel line out to the carburettor and changed the contact points, only to find out there is an earth tag broken; I am mending it tomorrow. You have mentioned the series 2 club; what do you get out of the club as I have seen it advertised. ps. I am from Rodborough

Thanks for the offer; got the engine running. now looking at the clutch; there's no compression! she's been standing idle for 7 years..
