I have a brand new 14" RDX Wooden Steering wheel complete with the boss - I fitted it today, in huge anticipation of a 'i'll love this' moment, and I don't like it
It doesnt suit my landy - ( all fitted in just dandy, I just didnt like it ).
I got ot off Bolt On Bits ( Ebay Shop ) - cost me £ 106 quid by the time it was delivered... I cant send it back, ( chucked the packaging etc ) , and its been 'on' so I guess its effectively 'used', although it was driven for 500 yards only.
Its to fit the 48 spline Landy Steering Column - thats the 4 spoke Wheel.. and thats ALL it'll fit, with the boss that I have.
I'm realistic - I dont have a chance of recovering the outlay,
but I'd like to try and realise 'something' back on it ..
The thing itself is a nice piece of engineering.. looks the part, i just didn't take to it - it just looked wrong on a Cambrian Grey 1986 90. IMHO.
I reckon it'd be ok in other instances, just not on my beastie and not to my eye.
Everythings there - if you want it, make me a sensible offer and chances are, I'll say 'aye'. I'd sort out sending it to any UK address, I'll box it up and package it nicely and safely from work - so that it'd get to you in tip top condition.
Theres a central 'horn' button, 3 chrome spokes , I'd guess at the wood being something like santos mahogany, or similar ( i know a fair bit about hardwoods, so wont be far wrong with that guess ). and a very deep lustre finish on the wheel.
All fixings / components 'as new' .. and I'll send you the lot.
It has the pins to ensure your indicators will 'cancel' properly.
Basically anything half-sensible offered, and its yours.
PM me if you're interested in it.. its absolutely 'as new'.
