130 tipper insurance?

Hi just bought a 1997 300tdi
130 double cab with a tipper.

Really struggling to get a good quote.

I'm mid 30's
15 years driving
8ncb
No accidents or convictions
Parked on drive in low crime area

Last quote was£1100

It's a joke!

£1100 was it Bob Monkhouse Insurance direct? I insured my 200tdi with no NCB as its only £15 nuggets a month.

Joke ain't it. It seems to be the tipper that's causing a headache. I know my transit tipper was about £200 more than a simple dropside.
