12v supply to ignition switch

When putting the dash of my petrol series 2A back together the 12v supply to the ignition switch has failed , i am having trouble trying to find were this supply originates from , I have carried out resistance checks with a meter from the fuses and from the voltage regulator , Does anyone know were this supply originates from . Cheers

afaik/remember, the lucas voltage regulator has 5 spade connectors. A1 A F D E.
A1 is auxillary via ignition.
A is auxillary.
F is field.
D is dynamo.
E is earth.
