12n/s sockets - I have searched

Hello, I have done a search and found diagrams of wiring the different sockets. My question however it this:

My 98 Disco has only the older 12n socket. I have seen the wires on the inside behind the drivers side rear lights and the little plastic plug just before the wires go out under the car and to the tow bar.

What I would like to do is wire a 12n AND a 12s socket into the rear door to the lower left of the spare wheel so that they are out of the way and so that I have both plugs instead of just the one.

For the 12n socket it should be simples



As it is basically just a relocation of the existing plug and wiring, however, for the additional 12s plug (of which I do not already have one) would the required wires already be where the plugs are for the 12n plug? The newer 12s plug had different wiring so just wondering where to source them from??

the other plug has different feeds so you will need to source them elsewhere, can't remember what each wire does, think only one in common is the earth.LEE

You'll also need a relay activated from the alternator (Halfrauds do the full kit) it comes with all the wiring you need.

get the proper kit from your landy dealer. an hour or two should have it done and doesn't have a scotch lock in sight. takes all the worry out of it.
