12J Oil leaks...all new to me!

Yeah Yeah I know they all do but Im going to sort the worst out.

First is the one in the picture which is at the front, bottom of the engine behind the bottom pulley. It looks like a possible wading plug hole as its threaded.

Second...halfway down the dipstick, oil comes out like a tap. Its been caused by the engine earth strap chaffing on it...I can see the tube is attached to the sump with a nut it goes through. To replace it, am I right in thinking that I should remove the stick, cut the tube just above the nut & undo it with a socket on an extension bar? Or is there a better way.

Looks like your timing Case is leaking oil. Your Main front Crankshaft or Camshaft oil seals have failed. We had the same problem. You will have to strip your timing casing, remove the timing belt and all timing gears and refit. Alot of work, but it can be done
