110 to RR engine swap

Hi,

This is probably a simple question.........but if an engine & box are fitted to a 110 (86) chassis, will they fit straight into a RR (89)? eg are all the mounting points etc the same distance apart or will I need to make/move engine mounts?

Dunno about the engine but the gearbox is different for starters.

....because the RR is V8 auto and t'wife needs something to tow with and 110 needs, er, major work. If it was an easy swap it would be worth it.........

It can be done like anything else with landies but I think it'll be hassle.
