Can anyone please advise me? The steering on the 110 stationwagon feels "stiff " of late, for example doing a three point turn or tight manouvres. It seems to need quite an effort on the steering wheel, though increasing the revs seems to wake up the steering pump and ease the turn! I cannot decide if it just feels different to my new "ordinary car" or if its stiffer than it should be! I had a replacement power steering pump not too long ago though there is some weeping of fluid at the incoming pipe union. I suspect maybe some air in the system but any other suggestions? There seems to be a slight whirring noise from the steering box when she is going over to full lock. Help!
