Spot welded I think.
cant see any evidence of spot welds, looking like glued on but not sure

Rub the paint off.
Thick layer of paint goes in the dip of the spot weld to hide it.
Why do you want to remove the ribs ?
Seeing as I can't sell it I thought I'd use the ally for my little truck fuel tanks etc

Run a flap wheel along the side of the rib to find the spots. Find 3 & measure the distance. Then you only need to do small grindsSeeing as I can't sell it I thought I'd use the ally for my little truck fuel tanks etc
Might be able to leave most of the ribs on and turn them to the inside, there's no evidence of welds on the underside of the roof
