The old gasket on the transfer box on my 110 was leaking when it got hot. I was told by a Landy expert to replace it with the Land Rover gasket compound, so I drained the box, took the plate off and cleaned the surfaces, ran the compound along the join and all around the bolt holes, left it for a few mins, bolted the plate back on, left it a day, tightened the bolts up fully and re-filled with oil. And now it leaks even worse when it gets hot... :doh: What did I do wrong !
