Not been on here for a while due to illness, bugger getting older.

The HRW switch has decided to comit suicide on my 110 (1988), not a problem I'll get a new one or so I thought, there no longer avalible. Tried everywhere I can think of and googled this machine almost to death. Has anyone an Idea as to what else I could fit in the same hole?

The switch to fit your age of 110 was - PRC4433

This has now been superseded by - YUF101500

However, YUF101500 is quite expensive

YUF101500 SWITCH REAR HEATED WINDOW | shop | www.lrseries.com

Heated Rear Window Switch - Genuine Land Rover at www.rimmerbros.co.uk

YUF101500 | Switch-Heated Rear Window

Switch HRW YUF101500 Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order.

YUF101500 | SWITCH HEATED REAR WINDOW DEF | Land Rover | Defender 1983 To 2006 | Britcar (UK) Ltd

Cheaper alternatives would be -

YUF101680 from the Rover Mini -

Switch-rocker heated rear window - Genuine MG Rover at www.rimmerbros.co.uk

Demist Rocker switch YUF101680 - Huddersfield Spares Limited

YUF101680 - Mini switch rear heated window

To use any of the alternative switches, would require you to modify the switch's connections.
