110 heated rear screen

hi guys strange question does a defender have a heated rear screen as standerd or was it an option ??? if i was an option im guessing it would have been in an options pack with rear was wiper ?? or am i loosing the plot entirly possible lol

I replaced the rear door on me 90 and that came with a heated window. think all the post 1990 ones had a heated rear window

my 1989 110 hard top has both a heated rear screen and a rear wiper, am sure that didnt help but i felt the need to tell you

i have been looking through past posts but cant find extact details but it doesn't seem to hard to fit a heated screen an wipe am i right in this assumtion should i buy 1 with out these features

Mines a 1999 and it dont have rear wash wipe or heated rear screen

its a 1994 but i cant see in the pictures werether it has or not havent had the cash through yet so haven't settled but if i can save my self a job i will, what year were the fitted as standerd from ??

I think its dependent on if its a county or not upto a certain age. maybe TD5?

county trim gets the rear wash/wipe, techno cloth trim seats, sunroof and those ****e decals down the side

Maybe no'

The white bus used tae be a mountain rescue ambulance and 'might've' had these added later.

You could always buy a rear door with the heater and wiper fitted, then it's just a matter of wiring them up.
I wonder if the loom already has the cabling and connectors in place or did cost-cutting back then mean they made several types of looms up?

Wirings in place But he'll need a rear screen heater relay.
