110 Defender v Discovery2

I run a hot air ballooning business and I'm selling my '94 110 Defender TDi £3995 as I no longer need it (bought a 17 seat minibus instead). My '00 110 TD5 however could go too as I now no longer need the seating capacity, which leaves me with the question, do I buy a Disovery2 instead? I do a lot of heavy towing and I do need it for some very basic offroading (driving across fields and down farm tracks) which my chipped TD5 has admirably done.
One of the reasons I like the idea of a Discovery2 would be a V8 propane conversion, however it will need to be able to do a lot of heavy towing, can it cut it or should I stick with my trusty TD5?

The disco will tow anything a defender can and you'll be more comfy doing it.

But defenders are cool.

I love my disco but every time I see a 110 I think "oooh should have got one of those"


If its a good landy I'd keep it.

I sold my y-reg defender and bought an '03 ES Disco for £1500 less. It does the same job but in loads of comfort. Thanks for the advice!!
