Hi, new to this site and will soon be the proud owner of a 110 crew cab being built by my dad. Question I need help with.... we have converted the dash lights from a 300tdi to a TD5 LED dash following a wiring diagram downloaded from a Landy site. However, when we take the battery off to charge it and put it back on it lights different lights. We have had them all working but it keeps changing. Any help it trying to cure it would be greatly appreciated

The wiring diagram you should use is the one on Retroanaconda website. If different lights keep appearing, what lights are they? How did you connect the LED panel to your current wiring loom?

I used the wiring diagram from the land Rover technical blog, the battery charging and the brake warning lights are the lights that stay on and the plugs used on the back of the warning light panel are from RS. components part number 362-8796 and 362-8780 and corresponding pins as directed on the diagram.

The technical blog is Retroanacondas website I think.

The charge light must be an alternator connection issue, or the wire isn’t connected as it should be.

When you say brake warning light, do you mean ABS light, or handbrake, or brake fluid level?

I haven’t done my dash conversion yet, but I think it will be done in the next 3-4 weeks. Let me know if you can’t sort it. I will have a look over the diagrams and see what I can work out.

Which pins did you use in the RS plugs?
