Took head off this morning and so far have found :-
snapped rocker shaft
missing valve cap stuck down the side of no 1 inlet cam follower slide
4 out of the follower slides in the wrong way round
it has 4 new inlet valves and the stem seal for each are up the top of the
stem instead of on the guide
Tomorrow I am gonna sort head and followers out and refit then all i have to
do is fit new rocker shaft when it comes Monday
My conclusion is cam belt has snapped and then it has had a half arsed
repair job.
When it is running with no nasty noises next stop cam belt judging by the
standard of work so far.......
Any hints tips or comments most welcome
