It has a lath of wood in bottom hem that just hooks on to 2 bent metal "hooks" tech screwed to the rail under the other side window, nothing too high tech :)

Should be pretty easy to make something with a concertina folding operation - maybe three panels, fixed behind the second row seats. A bit of light ply and piano hinges would do the job. Alternately, a Volvo V70 blind is fairly long, should be available in your local scrapper.

That's what I've done with mine. Sheet of 18mm ply cut in half ( widthways across Landy ) another strip of ply ( approx 4" ) fixed behind the seats. Piano hinges on the top of this strip to the first sheet, then hinged underneath to the next sheet. All sitting on baton rails on the wheel arches, this allows the sheets to be folded up in one motion. I made it so I can carry my mowers on top and keep my other tools underneath.
Can get some photos up tomorrow if it helps.

We like low tech, cheers tacr2man. Sheets of ply might be a bit much for the other half but I reckon a kitchen blind will do it nicely, especially if I can mount it across the tub behind the second row of seats and come up with a couple of hooks by the back door.
