Right now i am in Kenya and i'm having a issue that i hope someone can help me with. We have a rolled 130 Puma with a good chassis and a worn out 110 that has a good engine (300tdi) and gear box R380 but the body and chassis are knackerd. I have a chance to get a different 110 body. what is the best way to go about putting the 110 body on the 130. Is there anyone here that has done this?

Would need a bit more information. what age is the replacement 110 body. What are you hoping to achieve in terms of body configuration? Are you looking to shorten the 130 chassis to 110 or are you looking to fit a 110 station wagon body and 110 hicap rear to make a 130 double cab pickup?

What we’re trying to do is get a functional vehicle for cheap ( ie use the parts we’ve got). The best idea would be a 130 wagon but I don’t know if we can swing that. So possibly a double cab pick up. The 130 is a 2011 puma. The engine is gone the bonnet, wings, roof and doors are destroyed. The engine and electrical was pulled from the vehicle. We have a worn out 1997 110 wagon with a completely knackerd body and chassis that is more weld than original steel but the 300tdi and R380 are good. We don’t what to cut and weld the chassis because here the chassis takes a beating! We have a few donor vehicles bodies to choose from 110 wagons a 3 door and pickups. I am trying to find the easiest cheapest way to replace our clapped out 110

I am just guessing, all you would need is a bar welded across the rear chassis with the rear body mounting plates on. Rear cross member will stick out a bit, put a flat plate on top of it.
Other way is to shorten chassis.
